Knights of Columbus St Louis Polish Church
The Knights of Columbus is a men's organization created to unite men in their faith and help others in times of need. Through their Good Neighbor Project, one of the Knights programs distributes donated bread and pastries from Panera Bread to those in need. Frank Piveronas spearheads this project and has been the "bread man" dropping off welcome goods to the Friendship House in South Portland every Saturday. The Friendship House is well known to St Louis Parish from its founding in 1985. When it was located on Brackett Street in Portland, the Parish donated food from its annual dinner events.  Frank states, "We will continue to be a friend to Friendship House helping with food and other wish list items".

Join Cathedral School's 200 Club to benefit the Portland Peninsula and Island Parishes' Catholic elementary school: Membership is just $5.00 per month or $60.00 per year.  Purchasing more than one membership per person increases your chances of winning a prize in the monthly drawing. To join, download and complete the membership form, and send it with your dues in an envelope marked “200 Club" to the Cathedral School Office. Remember, all proceeds directly benefit Cathedral School which is the Catholic elementary school for our cluster of parishes. Thank you for supporting Catholic education, and our own Cathedral School!

Volunteer opportunities exist in every parish. Lead the way, and contact your parish office to offer to help.
